We love our ONE year old!

Isn't this the best cake?!?! She "whipped" this up in a hurry and it still turned out great! Yay for wonderful (talented) friends!

Some of our little fish.
Wow! Our littlest love turned 1 years old this weekend. This past year has been wonderful with her. We seriously lucked out with the sweetest easiest little love bug. Since she is so darn sweet, we had a watermelon themed birthday celebration for her. She is definitely "One in a Melon!"
I couldn't get too many pictures without her face being covered but in this picture she's blowing kisses to her great grandparents. 💕
Aspyn with her Uncle Biggun and Grandpa Norm. They gave her a beautiful beaded bracelet and barretts.

Thanks to Pinterest we had an italian soda bar! So yummy and many folks hadn't ever tried one before and they all noted how yummy/easy they were. Yum!
We wanted to keep it low-key and easy going so we kept it to close family and didn't even send out official invites (my pre-3rd baby is dying inside). We have a wonderful bounce house rental that comes to our valley from Mesquite so we rented a water slide bounce house for the older kids to play. They rental owners are so wonderful and deliver the bounce house early in the day so the boys got to play all day long. They were wore out by the time the actual party started but that's okay. We were so thankful for the wonderful weather, yummy food and good company. The cake was made by a dear friend and was absolutely adorable!
She is so talented and she said that it was a "thrown together" cake. It definitely far surpasses anything I could do- even with tons of time. LOL. I started ordering watermelon themed items back in April when all I could think about was summertime and watermelon 😜 Here are a few of the photos. I really slacked at taking pictures of the fun but you can get the general idea!
